The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on material handling equipment installed at the Beech Island, SC site. What You Will Do In This Role Perform repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication are completed flawlessly. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to maintain world-class operational standards. Apply electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry and ensure efficient performance. Efficiently build and close work orders into the asset management system, accurately logging labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Solve semi-complex problems by identifying and applying the required resources to resolve them effectively. Monitor and manage spare parts from inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks. Conduct routine maintenance and equipment testing, ensuring compliance with specifications. Respond to service calls promptly and address equipment failures and faults with a proven approach. Identify and resolve problems as they occur, taking appropriate steps to prevent recurrence. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization, encouraging a collaborative work environment. What We Are Looking For A high school diploma or equivalent experience is essential. An associate's degree or vocational-technical training is beneficial, with niche skill training/certification preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solving electro-mechanical equipment issues is preferred. Demonstrated experience and successful implementation of responsibilities as outlined above. The ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds each. Capability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Safely climb ladders and gangways without limitations. Able to work in different conditions like tight spaces, noise, and varying temperatures. The ability to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours.
