Job Summary Under the direction of the program or department head, or their designee, the Athletic Trainer provides comprehensive athletic training services to student-athletes in accordance with state athletic training practice standards. This role is responsible for injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency response, and supporting the overall health and well-being of student-athletes. Qualifications Essential Functions Provide care, evaluation, and treatment for athletic injuries. Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs tailored to student-athlete needs. Assess injuries and develop treatment plans that support recovery and safe return-to-play decisions. Provide athletic training coverage for all home and hosted athletic contests in accordance with CCCAA bylaws. Administer emergency care and first aid when needed. Create, maintain, and regularly update injury reports and related documentation. Ensure proper fitting and use of athletic equipment, including helmets, shoulder pads, braces, mouthguards, tape, and wraps. Maintain clinical records, supplies, equipment, and the athletic training environment to support efficient clinic operations.
