HR Preboarding Coordinator II

Organization: S3-Sutter Shared Services-Valley Position Overview: *This position is based in Sacramento and will require regular in office days in our Sacramento location. Provides preboarding for internal and external hires, monitoring process and progress to ensure candidates that received an offer of employment are accurately and expeditiously cleared to begin employment on agreed start date. Follows-up with selected candidates to ensure timely completion of all required documents and steps, and other applicable job or clearance requirements are met (e.g., rehire eligibility; license, registration, or certifications; state and federal background compliance checks, medical assessments, and completion of I-9 documentation). Provides final clearance to candidate entity HR. This role is responsible for ensuring an excellent preboarding experience through exceptional customer service including prompt communication and following processes for quality and timeliness. Identifies and participates in process improvement activities. Job Description: EDUCATION: HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year of recent relevant Human Resources, Preboarding and/or Recruitment experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to read, comprehend, and apply human resources/recruitment policies and procedures. Ability to learn and understand new processes or concepts quickly. Demonstrates analytical skills with the ability to recognize issues or questionable information/data. Organization skills and attention to details. Ability to communicate through verbal and written means. Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions. Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties. Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities. Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential information. Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the roles duties and responsibilities. Pay Range is $28.85 to $40.39 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
