About the Maricopa County STAR Contact Center The mission of the STAR Contact Center is to provide knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient information to all incoming telephone questions to the Recorder, Elections, Assessor, and Treasurer offices and to assist callers who call the County Switchboard. With access to these multiple offices and their data, the Contact Center Representatives can answer nearly every question in a single call. Bilingual agents are also available.
