Join us to make legends happen! Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Bartender. This position stocks, prepares and serves alcoholic drinks to patrons at bars, concession stands and/or beer trailers for catered and non-catered events where alcoholic drinks are served. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read Banquet Event Order (BEO) and know how to complete bar set-up Set bar(s) or bar station in assigned area correctly and uniformly Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures Properly account for all bar stock on bar sheets, opening and closing inventory; to include recording waste/spoilage. Monitor, control and restock bar stock in liquor control rooms. Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the beverage service. Maintains accurate accounting of inventory on assigned bar. Ability to learn and operate a Point of Sale system Performs location worker assignments. Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees. Plans for daily sales flow based on projections. Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities: Physical inventory stand sheet Verifies the proper item prices to the beverage menu. Performs location worked duties as assigned. Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage. Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation. Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work Education and/or Experience Must be at least 21 years old Must possess a valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses Must pass a background check and credit screening Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires stooping, lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30lbs.
