Annual Salary: $48,184.50 - $50,466.00 Hourly: $24.71 - $25.88 Department: General Government, Human Resources & Organizational Development Division: Recruitment & Onboarding FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: As a part of our Recruitment team, you will be an integral and frontline part of our new hire orientation process from job offer extension to onboarding and a variety of recruitment projects. Examples of Duties: Extend job offers to all new hires via Workday. Communicate with all departments and keep them updated throughout the pre-employment process. Send out all pre-employment documents to new hires, including background checks, drug testing, and physicals. Check professional references for all new hires. Input hire details into Workday. Oversees all new hire orientation classes on a biweekly basis. Remain heavily involved with all non-Sworn hires and Summer Seasonal hires. Review and explain new hire paperwork and forms with each new hire. Gather all documents for I-9 verification and E-verify all new hires. Scan recruitment documents into an electronic filing system. Assist with job fairs on and off site as needed. Provide support to other HR teams during peak busy times, assisting the Benefits, and Wellness teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid South Carolina driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data entry in a professional setting Experience with full recruitment cycle Experience using Workday 1 year of experience in an office setting Other Necessary Requirements: May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
