Job Description This position assists the Manager of the Office of the President with the reception area and events as needed. In fulfilling this position, student employees must continuously strive to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ. Hours: 15-19 hours a week during semester and the starting wage for all student employees is $14.00 per hour with the possibility of $.25 rate increase each semester of continued work based on merit. Candidates should Demonstrate dependable attendance and timely arrival at the assigned work location Exhibit strict confidentiality in working with restricted information Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to a high standard of dress and grooming, including wearing professional business attire. Hair should be clean, neat, modest, and avoid extremes in styles and colors. Men must be clean shaven and free of piercings. Women must limit piercings to one per ear. Specific Summary of Duties: Provide support to the Manager of the Presidents Office with various tasks Provide superior customer service to all guests entering the Executive Suite Answer phone calls and distribute daily mail Assist the Executive team with courses in Canvas as needed Assist with event preparations as needed Assist with various projects as assigned Arrange cars, lunches, and set up for meetings Job Qualification: Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits (3 per block) and in good academic standing. Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication. Have the ability to communicate effectively, listen and respond appropriately. Highly self-motivated, hard worker, creative, and has a great attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with the supervisor, team members, faculty, and staff. Ability to solve problems and ask for clarification as needed. Proficient in Office 365 and Canvas. Must commit to dependable attendance and timely arrival at the assigned work location.
