Patient Registrar - Jackson Heights / Queens Medical Group As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, handling: Providing a reassuring presence during the patient experience Demographic and insurance information collection Registration for procedures and appointments Schedules and maintains daily appointments Collects co-payments and fees Check eligibility in real time This is a full-time day shift position, Monday - Friday. The hours may change to accommodate the needs of the practice. This position is based in our Jackson Heights location and may need to travel to other locations as needed. Preferred Criteria: Some college coursework Experience working in a busy medical practice. Familiarity with Epic Experience with insurance authorization Bilingual in Spanish Required Criteria: High School Diploma or GED Qualified candidates have at least one year of clerical experience.
