This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. Responsibilities: Oversees the daily operations of the Administrative Housing Office. Daily operations including, but not limited to, scheduling appointment, coordinating meetings, coordinating travel arrangements and prepares itineraries, and other special events, corresponding with outside entities as being the primary facilitator of communicative with the Administrative Office Staff (AVP, Director, Coordinator). Prepare agendas and compile data for meetings, Assist with appropriate public space reservations, type and proofread letters, memos, work request, duty and training schedules, staff rosters, and all other reports, forms and documents necessary in the Administrative Office. Provide daily administrative support to and assist with projects and departmental committee work. Serve on department, division and University committees. Participate in workshops and trainings as needed. May participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of student workers and support staff. Maintains a variety of fiscal, administrative, and academic records. Verifies, processes, and reviews forms, reports, tables, and other documents. Performs special analyses and project summaries. Work in conjunction with other Housing and Residence Life and University staff offices to handle customer complaints and emergencies. Greet visitors, answer telephones, screen calls and take messages. Distribute fliers and information to residence halls. Responsible for distribution of department inter-campus mail. Distribute office mail and process as appropriate. Provide excellent customer service to various University community members. Answer customer questions appropriate. Services as a resource to students and families, during summer school, new student conferences, and continuing education conference guests regarding locations of building and programs. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma. Four years of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
