The Senior Software Lead independently manages projects through the full project lifecycle from Initiation and planning to execution, monitoring and closeout - ensuring timely task completion, accurate documentation and clear stakeholder communication. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,000 - $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: Develop comprehensive software project plans, include scope definition, task breakdown, resource allocation and budget management. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand and document project requirements and track them through completion. Act as the primary point of coordination for software scope across engineering, QA, commissioning, and customer stakeholders. Develop project risk management plans and identify potential mitigation strategies with project teams. Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, following established change control processes. Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to standard execution processes, tools, and governance models. Manage project punch list through the project lifecycle. Understand the technical impact of decisions on business operations for Customers operation. Mentor Software Leads on process and projects with higher complexity. Prepare and analyze project reports using data metrics. Review change order quotes and project variance estimates.
