Job Title: 2nd Shift Electronic Technician Work Schedule: Onsite Christiansburg, VA To be considered for the Electronic Technician role, heres what youll need to bring with you: A two-year associate's degree in Electronics or related field such as electronics, electrical, instrumentation, or equivalent military certifications and experience. Experience testing electrical and electronic components, including the setup and use of electronic test equipment. Ability to endure heavy lifting (up to 55lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation. The know-how to understand electronic schematics. As an Electronic Technician, you will: Correctly store, clean, and maintain tools and equipment; verify calibration dates/seals. Thoroughly complete data sheets/test reports for parts tested. Perform qualification, acceptance, or special tests. Develop trouble-shooting procedures. Maintain working knowledge of logic circuitry. Learn how to use new types of test equipment and test systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment. Load and maintain software for ATE. Help train / cross-train others. Participate in Continuous Improvement Process Perform other duties as assigned.
