About team / role Wex FP&A team is seeking an experienced, self-driven Senior Financial Analyst to support the SVP of Revenue Marketing and the Global Marketing team. How you'll make an impact Acts as a business partner to the SVP of Revenue Marketing and the Global Marketing team, to ensure annual budgets and quarterly forecast processes are followed, with full responsibility for the preparation & analysis of Global Marketing costs across the regions and lines of business. Direct preparation of budgets, reviews and budget proposals, and ensure the plan is consistent with expectations while keeping in mind the companys strategic objectives with little to no guidance. Support the Revenue Marketing leadership team by preparing and/or challenging business cases for marketing investments and monitoring investment returns. Ensure that all financial reports are issued timely and accurately with appropriate insight and context provided. Partner with Corporate Accounting to analyze monthly results in order to ensure an accurate and timely close including ,but not limited to, Year over Year, variance vs budget/fcst, Quarterly sequential rate/volume changes and identification of accruals. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and drives implementation of initiatives that have a meaningful impact to finance, the LOB, and the Company. Prepare budget presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors with key insights and messaging developed and documented. Coordinate and produce a full monthly financial forecast and analysis report including matrix reporting for presentation to Senior Management. Assist in analysis and preparation of financial information for quarterly earnings communications to the Board of Directors and investment community. Identify areas of financial risk and opportunities to WEX and bring forward solutions to mitigate risks where appropriate within the Global Marketing budget. Collaborate and proactively foster relationships with peers, accounting, treasury, tax, line of business leadership, as well as the VP of Finance. Other ad-hoc projects and analysis as necessary such as: Contribute to project teams from a financial standpoint with regards to investment appraisal analysis Periodic reports and analyses as required for the management team. Presentations and recommendations of internal issues/alternatives to the management team. Experience you'll bring Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred 7+ years financial analysis experience Advanced Microsoft and Google Suite skills Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling with ability to explain and summarize financial results to non finance and finance audiences Experience supporting global marketing teams and managing digital marketing budgets. Experience with Anaplan preferred Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, UI Path and/or Gemini preferred Strong organizational and communication skills The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
