Hybrid work environment with minimum 1 day (Tuesday) in Chicago office required EXSIF-Senior Accountant We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will report to the Accounting Manager. This position works closely with foreign business partners, functional partners, and will have exposure to EXSIFs CFO and parent company. The position is responsible for ensuring all management and parent company financial reporting is prepared accurately and timely and in compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial analysis. Accounting responsible for foreign representative offices. Review reporting schedules prepared by domestic and foreign business partners for accuracy. Preparation and analysis of monthly Product and Segment Reports. Assist with recurring parent company deliverables, such as monthly/quarterly financial and tax reporting. Preparation of SG&A and operational accruals and management reporting materials Interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information, such as variance analysis, clearly and concisely. Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and are effective. Evaluate accounting processes, controls, and reporting for continuous improvement opportunities. Support internal and external audits. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA preferred Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience combined public and private experience preferred Experience with month-end close and financial/business analytics Global accounting and operations experience, including foreign currency accounting is a plus Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Process-oriented with a passion for developing best practice Proven IT skills including experience with Power Queries and databases Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel proficient (VLOOKUPs, Sum-ifs, and Pivot tables, etc.) Experience with multi-nationals work environment and foreign exchange matters (preferred) Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred) Experience with One Stream consolidation platform (preferred) Experience with designing and creating reports in the Microsoft Dynamics report writer (preferred) Pay Range: $103,500.-$126,500.
