FLSA Status: Exempt Job Description Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC), Norman, OK is currently recruiting for Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals to join their facility to support the adult outpatient department. This position will work alongside a robust treatment team to provide care for adults. FLSA Status: Exempt Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer addition compensation for working outside of normal business hours! These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay wen working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Licensed: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH) Under Supervision: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. About this Facility: COCMHC was opened in 1968 and was the nations first community mental health center. It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted in similar facilities throughout the country. Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents. COCMHC was awarded a CARF Three-Year Accreditation for the following programs: PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), Evaluation and Referral, Adult Outpatient, Team Green PSR (Psychiatric Rehabilitation), Systems of Care and Transitional Services, and Child and Family Services.
