Job Summary Job Description Summary Responsible for Packaging on various packaging machinery in order to maintain a steady flow of production. This may involve the following: traying-on, traying-off, nano-packaging and moving pallets. Must follow SOP's and any departmental procedures. Recommends improvements and identifies potential problems which could affect the operation both personnel and equipment related. Hourly Range: $19.00 Overnight Shift Differential: $1.75 per hour Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities Performs inspection of labeled vials, lot numbers, expiration dates, inserts, trays, partitions, shippers, packing and palletizing shipper packs Must maintain log in ability on packaging lines. Performs skilled training for aggregation of shippers Must be qualified to work on high-speed automated inspection equipment (AIM). Performs and documents line clearances before and after the running of a production lot Will work on assembly lines with high-speed equipment with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) applications Assures that the packaged product meets all [100%] of specifications Responsible for complying with all SOPs and cGMPs including all required training modules Maintains a clean and organized work environment and strives to meet daily goals Makes minor adjustments and assists with changeover and set-up to equipment, as necessary Assures the correct set-up and operation of all packaging equipment except the Labe/er Assures a safe working environment and always wears appropriate safety equipment/apparel as well as alerting the supervisor to unsafe conditions in the department Performs other duties as assigned. Works overtime as needed. All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities Requirement: High School diploma or GED required Must be capable of lifting to 40 lbs, of various packaging/inspection materials and equipment and transporting objects up to 80 lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive work with machinery, which typically produces anywhere from 150-400 units per minute Must have ability to focus on details for periods of time [i.e., visual inspection, labeling] Ability to move pallets of material with manual and battery-operated pallet jacks strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position, including independently understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications written in English due to our heavily regulated work environment.
