Housekeeper PRN $12$14/hour Greer, SC Schedule: Every Other Weekend About Us Brushy Creek Post Acute is a beautiful 144-bed skilled nursing facility conveniently located next to the hospital in Greer, South Carolina. Our unique campus features 12 cottage-style homes, each housing 12 residents and offering a comfortable, home-like environment. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting. Essential Duties Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Clean public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors Dust and sanitize handrails and other high-touch surfaces Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of caution signs and chemical storage Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies according to manufacturer guidelines Keep housekeeping carts, supply areas, and equipment clean and organized Report resident safety concerns promptly to facility leadership Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishing Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism Manage time effectively and complete assignments efficiently Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
