Job Details: Benefits Effective Day 1! Pay: $19.80/hr. and potential for overtime. Start: between 3PM - 3:15PM - go until production is done. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. POSITION SUMMARY: The essential job functions of the Stuffing Machine Operator are to supply quality pepperoni to slice. Team members will have to be able to keep up with production demands for stick and super dice production while adhering to all quality, safety, and good housekeeping/sanitation needs. Team members must be able to follow all instructions both verbal and written. RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and tear down of Risco Stuffer, Tipper-tie, Super Dice Stuffing table, and all other pipes, valve stations, heaters, and equipment necessary to produce product in the pepperoni grind room. Must be capable of learning how to operate and run all equipment essential to producing product in the pepperoni grind room. Will be responsible for ensuring that: all sticks meet diameter and weight requirements, that clips are secure, that no air is being stuffed into casing, and all other checks and duties of production are being followed. Observes Tyson/USDA safety and sanitation rules, utilizes proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to themselves and others, wears appropriate personal protective equipment, operates pallet jack Certified to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack preferred REQUIREMENTS. 6 months work history with the same employer. 6 months of machine operator experience. Requires ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able and willing to perform routine repetitive tasks, bending, pulling and lifting up to 30 - 60 pounds constantly. Must be able and willing to frequently stand continuously and walk up to ½ mile during the shift. Must have sufficient near, far, color and depth perception vision to perform operations.
