The Opportunity The Asset Management Analyst partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to analyze requirements, optimize processes, and support systems that manage a large global device and asset environment. This role supports endtoend asset lifecycle management, including inventory accuracy, compliance, reporting, and endoflife processing, while contributing to small-to-medium projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This person should have the ability to support hardware and software audits. The position operates under general supervision and exercises sound judgment within defined guidelines, influencing peers and occasionally firstlevel management. What Youll Work On Facilitate meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document detailed business and system requirements. Work closely with customers to understand strategic information needs, define success metrics, and measure performance against expectations. Prepare process documentation, flowcharts, models, and procedures for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), Lost / Stolen, and Investigation processes. Collaborate with crossfunctional analysts to ensure system enhancements align with and complement other enterprise systems. Implement business process solutions by designing, delivering, and training users on new or enhanced systems and processes (e.g., ServiceNow). Support the systems development lifecycle, including planning, coordination across teams, review of deliverables, and communication of status, issues, and risks to leadership. Define implementation activities, assign responsibilities, and assume a leadership role during system or process implementations. Analyze device and asset reports to track and manage 100,000+ assets across a global environment. Ensure accurate asset records and reporting throughout the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, deployment, and endoflife processing. Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper and compliant processing of endoflife PCs and related assets globally. Work closely with local sites to ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to asset handling and data security. Ensure adherence to corporate, divisional, and IT policies, procedures, and standards for hardware and software audits. Demonstrate foundational project management skills by acting as a project lead for small, welldefined initiatives. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource requirements as assigned. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members. Support team, divisional, and corporate initiatives as needed to achieve broader business objectives. Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to meet deadlines and service level expectations. Exercise authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate actions and escalate issues when needed. Communicate effectively with peers, management, vendors, and stakeholders across the enterprise. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years experience in Business systems analysis, IT asset management, or related discipline. Strong experience working with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Absolute, and vendor managed consoles (Vendor portals for ITAD pickups, etc.) Strong analytical skills utilizing Power BI and MS Excel, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to document business processes, requirements, and ServiceNow workflows. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity preparing process documentation, flowcharts, models, and procedures for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD). Ability to assist Project Managers acting as a project leader for small project, when needed. Experience with Hardware asset management using ServiceNow and Software asset management using Flexera.
