Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Sales Support Representative for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. This role is a critical position in supporting our in-house Sales Representatives of our organization. Our representatives are provided with in depth training to provide continuous skill and internal career enhancement based on performance and work ethic. Job details and Responsibilities: Direct contact/involvement with both the customers collection contacts/pay agent contacts Root cause contributing factors for payment delays Access to customer/pay agent portals for collections Monitoring/follow up Follow through on problem analysis through to closure Liaison between sales representation, EDI, account set-up and collections Provide accurate updates/details on all reasons for delayed payments Assisting local sales executives daily with various requests via email or phone call Analyzing data in our system to ensure data is entered correctly Skills Previous experience within the logistics field preferred but not required Detail oriented and well organized Ability to multitask and work independently Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to manage daily workflow Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Central Transport is one of the nation's most trusted and technologically advanced Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers.
