Job Summary & Responsibilities Role Overview The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the Companys endtoend AR function, including billing, collections, cash application, and AR accounting. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate receivables, minimizing credit risk, improving cash flow, and maintaining strong internal controls, while leading and developing the AR team. Key Responsibilities AR Operations & Cash Management Oversee all AR activities, including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution. Monitor customer balances, aging, and collection trends; drive timely resolution of pastdue receivables. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing issues and improve collections outcomes. Support cash forecasting by providing insights into collection timing and risks. Accounting & Close Responsibilities Manage ARrelated monthend close activities, including: AR reconciliations Revenue and billing tieouts (in coordination with Revenue Accounting) Allowance for doubtful accounts analysis and entries Ensure AR balances are accurate and align with U.S. GAAP. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Credit & Risk Management Oversee customer credit reviews, credit limits, and approvals. Assess collectability risk and support bad debt reserve methodology. Escalate highrisk accounts appropriately. Controls, Compliance & Audit Own and execute SOX controls related to AR, billing, and cash receipts. Serve as primary AR contact for external auditors. Ensure strong documentation and audit readiness. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop AR analysts and/or supervisors. Establish clear KPIs (e.g., DSO, pastdue %, dispute aging). Drive consistent processes, accountability, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve automation. Partner on system enhancements or ERP improvements affecting billing or cash application. Improve scalability as transaction volume grows. Qualifications Required ~68+ years of progressive accounting or AR experience. Prior experience managing accounts receivable operations and teams. Strong understanding of AR accounting, revenue/billing processes, and U.S. GAAP. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience working in a SOXcompliant environment. Preferred CPA or relevant accounting certification. Experience in capital manufacturing a plus ERP experience (e.g., Oracle). Experience partnering closely with Sales or Commercial teams. Compensation & Growth Base Salary Range: $115,200.00 - $172,800.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
