Youll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world. The Senior Manager, Project Management (SME Individual Contributor) will initiate, plan, execute, control and manage all aspects of project(s) to ensure ultimate project success. How youll make an impact: Develop a high-level and detailed plan for the project and manage project change to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts. Manage mid-scale to enterprise-wide project(s). Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases within the project and coordinate the sharing and prioritization of resources among projects. Execute project plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and communicate project status and data to maintain accurate and current project information to stakeholders. Obtain approval for the project and actively manages project benefits and issues in partnership with key stakeholders. Establish and maintain project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external to the organization. Own one or more Project Management Office (PMO) continuous improvement activities. Identify and evaluate process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities. Manage project closure activities, including gathering lessons learned and driving changes for continuous improvement. Serve as a project management subject matter expert, including guiding and mentoring project managers and develops expertise in a business process, professional discipline. What youll need: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8 years of hands-on experience managing projects and/or programs of increasing complexity. Ability to travel 5 to 10%. What else we look for: PMP Certification. Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodology. Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management systems. Experience working with Engineering teams or Supply Chain. Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Expert understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing projects. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent understanding and work experience with project budgets and financial management. Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders. Experience within a regulated environment. For California, the base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
