Millers Cove Rd Walland, TN 37886 The starting pay rate for this position is $16.00 to $20.00 per hour The Grounds Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal guest experience by maintaining all outdoor grounds areas. Must have weekend availability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interact with guests accordingly Perform daily tasks at verandas, pool, tennis courts, boathouse, bonfire circle, kitchen, and service center Manicure lawn areas, landscape plants, and mulched areas under supervision Fertilize lawn areas and landscape plants under supervision Water plant material as necessary Remove debris from paved surfaces Leaf and snow removal Perform manual and chemical weed control Maintain and construct hiking trails Maintain all equipment Perform landscape installations Operate a tractor and be able to use bush hog, box blade, and other assorted tractor implements under supervision Winter road maintenance Driving 26 ft box trucks Using ladders Pulling trailers Event setup Maintain pool cleanliness and chemicals Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in outdoor lawn care or landscaping Valid drivers license LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members, guests, and managers MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic knowledge and understanding of math REASONING ABILITY Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Must be able to be on feet for an extended period Must be able to walk several miles of hiking trails Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely WORK ENVIRONMENT May occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain, Relais & Châteaux properties located in the Great Smoky Mountains, continue the traditions of unparalleled hospitality and luxury that have always been the hallmark of the Blackberry brand.
