Full Job Description

Production Operator Wage: $28.16 per hour. Plus $1.00 shift differential with a $0.30 increase after 60 days Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm 11pm. Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed, hours subject to business needs. The Line Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality products. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product. In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, quality, and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation. This is a Union Facility, and this position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement. This role is at a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility for Land OLakes, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe theres power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to peoples lives. Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Qualifications & Experiences: 18 years or older 6+ months of manufacturing experience Basic computer skills. Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful Preferred Qualifications & Experiences: 1+ year of manufacturing work experience Machine operation and/or forklift experience Physical Requirements: Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
