Job Description Summary The Service of Process role is responsible for managing the processing, dispatching, tracking, and completion of legal document service requests. This position receives orders from Client Services, assigns them to process servers, monitors progress, and ensures accurate communication and documentation for both successful and unsuccessful serves. Successful completion results in a Proof of Service, while unsuccessful attempts require a Non-Service Affidavit and follow-up before billing. Responsibilities: Track and monitor active subpoena (DAS) jobs across all service methods Follow up with process servers and vendors to obtain timely updates Update internal systems (DAS) with clear, accurate status information Support coordination of services across multiple channels, including: Field service (hand service) Email service Fax service Portal uploads Mailings Research and resolve service issues, including locating updated or alternative addresses when needed Assistance with follow up on onsite copy jobs and pick ups for faster turn-around Coordinate with process servers to redirect or reassign jobs based on new information Assist with assigning or adjusting work to ensure service deadlines are met Monitor shared inboxes and respond to status and research-related inquiries Identify delays or issues and escalate when appropriate Ensure completed services are properly documented and ready for next steps Qualifications Familiarity with Service of Process laws, rules, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Serve Manager and DAS or ability to learn both systems quickly. Strong phone communication skills and ability to interact professionally with servers and clients. Ability to manage a high-volume workflow with accuracy and responsiveness. Ability to type 45+ WPM with strong attention to detail. Experience in records retrieval, fieldwork, or legal services preferred. The base Compensation range for this role will $21.00-22.00 an hour and will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
