Position Summary... What you'll do... We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Support Associate to join our Waste Operations & Recycling team. This hourly position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and effective resolution of service escalations from stores, clubs, and distribution centers related to solid waste and recycling. The role also supports business operations through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement initiativeshelping drive efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence across the enterprise. Shift Information Tuesday Saturday 8:00AM-5:00PM CST Key Responsibilities Issue Management & Escalations: Monitor and manage the escalation inbox and ServiceChannel (work order management system) to troubleshoot and resolve service issues related to solid waste and recycling. Reporting & Analysis: Review, analyze, and report on aging work orders, missed services, and other key performance indicators. Conduct data gathering and basic statistical analysis to identify trends and recommend solutions. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely service delivery and issue resolution. Serve as the teams representative on weekly All Hands calls, providing operational updates and insights. Operational Support: Assist in implementing new or changing processes, initiatives, or program rollouts. Track calendars, coordinate meetings, and manage expenses for leadership as needed to ensure smooth operations. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of escalations, resolutions, and follow-ups. Ensure all processes align with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and recommend process enhancements to improve service quality and reduce escalations. Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives within waste and recycling operations. Qualifications Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ServiceChannel or similar work order management systems preferred. Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and comfort with data-driven analysis. Familiarity with waste and recycling operations or facilities management is a plus. Comfortable speaking in team-wide forums and presenting operational updates.
