Job Details: Job Description: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. Join Intel as a Software Application Development Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the software solutions that empower end-users and drive innovation in the tech industry. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, test, and debug cutting-edge software applications that span the full application stack, including both frontend and backend development. Your contributions will directly impact Intel's mission to deliver world-class technology solutions, helping to create seamless user experiences and robust applications for both individual users and integrated systems used by independent software vendors (ISVs). Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop high-quality software applications using modern programming languages, secure coding practices, and legal compliance guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user stories and define system requirements. Write functional and test code, automate build and deployment processes, and perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Utilize frameworks and tools such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to create innovative and scalable solutions. Execute secure development lifecycle (SDL) tasks with guidance from product security engineers. Provide technical input to complete product documentation and installation/maintenance procedures. Engage with end-users to gather feedback and implement necessary system modifications. The ideal candidate should show the following behavioral traits: Strong problem-solving skills and willing to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies to enhance application performance and usability. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 1+ years of experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 0 years of experience. Experience listed above should be a combination of the following: Programming languages and tools including Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, C, Swift, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Node.js, and MySQL. DevOps principles and practices. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and modern software development lifecycle processes. Previous experience interacting with end-users or stakeholders to gather system requirements and feedback.
