Title and Summary Software Engineer II Job Description Summary We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Mastercard Connect Team. As part of the development team, your role will focus on creating and maintaining the application across the whole lifecycle. Full Stack Developer Role Develop applications using Java/J2EE, Angular or React technologies. Excellent communication skills with Agile knowledge. Development of Java based applications using Springboot, React and Micro-Services architecture Be able to work with Business/Systems Analysts and Quality Engineers in a behavioral driven development environment. Knowledge of all types of data storage techniques, SQL, Postgres, Mongo, Oracle The Ideal candidate should have experience of developing Microservices in Cloud based environment. All About You Key Technology Focus Areas: Experience in Java, Javascript, Angular or React, SQL Experience with Kafka, Spring Boot, spring cloud, Spring MVC, Spring web flux, Spring security Experience using GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube Agile methodologies, Test driven development, Lombok, Jnuit and Mockito Good to have knowledge about cloud, Azure or AWS Good to have experience using NOSQL db, graphQL Microservices architecture and event driven architecture Hands on experience of with security, key and certificate management Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks and tools and support multiple concurrent activities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. Always look for potential solutions to solve problems. In line with Mastercards total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
