Full Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sustain current processes to achieve greater line and parametric yields. Monitor current processes to ensure process complies with necessary parameters and provides a base line for any necessary process enhancements. Develop and transfer new processes to production. Provide pre-process troubleshooting, analysis of outcomes and feasibility of process. Ensure process meets design criteria. Write programs to test, monitor or process wafer. Monitor results of tests. Analyze visual and physical test data to determine disposition of a run, make adjustments as needed. Responsible for equipment maintenance, selection, qualification, and characterization, to ensure maximum operation. Set up and maintain documentation and statistical process control charts on all relevant processes. Review professional publications regarding current processes and process equipment for applicability. Analyze failed runs to identify the source of process errors and recommend process changes. Support company initiatives, such as quality, safety and environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment. Perform other duties as required. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques and statistics. Skills in technical writing, computers, interfacing with people, problem solving and organization. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics, chemistry or related field. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to hazardous chemicals, lasers and radiation. Requires wearing clean room suit. Please note that this position may require U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status in the future depending on federal requirements What We Offer Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $77,000-$90,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position. Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
