Essential Duties/Tasks 35% - TTDN Program Planning and Development: Collaborate with Director of IT in planning, implementing and evaluating of programs Assist in establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures including projects, troubleshooting, resolving problems and research Collaborate with Directors on creating new and expanded programs Assesses clients needs through direct interaction, mapping current and future business process through effective use of technology Support engineering projects Follow up with clients and stakeholders which may require travel 30% - Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain and manage documentation including membership for all programs such as Community Engagement Program and engineering programs Prepare reports on program activities Prepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes Document current business processes and requirements including detailed functional and technical specifications Track circuit installations, changes, and disconnects 15% - Stakeholder Engagement and Liaison: Facilitate participant engagement in meetings hosted, at times off-site, and provide speakers/content Develop training materials, maps, and documentation for end-users Create and distribute newsletter for program members Schedule and coordinate invitations for programs with pertinent information to members 15% - Procurement: Manage contract renewals and vendor quote renewals. Create web documents and handle product receiving documentation. 5% - Training and Development: Participate in training and professional development sessions Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience Two years of related experience. Required Licenses and Certifications None Preferred Qualifications Two years of Networking Experience Two years of Project Management Experience Two years of Customer / Vendor Relationship Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Must have strong interpersonal skills Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications Excellent analytical and organizational skills Knowledge of document repository environments such as Laserfiche or similar Knowledge of Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL) Additional Information Machines or equipment used in the performance of essential duties Computer- 30 hours Phone- 5 hours Physical Requirements Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving and/or flying on commercial airlines Other Requirements and Factors This position may require up to 10-15% or more travel This position is security sensitive This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements This role may require working outside of standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the demands of technology services and ensure the seamless operation of essential systems Export Control This position will require export-control authorization prior to starting employment.
