On-Call Work Shift Weekday 2 days/week 8a-4p SUMMARY The Entry Coordinator maintains a safe facility by verifying visitor and personnel authorization, conducting ID checks, and performing random baggage searches. Monitors perimeter and interior security, ensures proper storage of classified materials. Monitors temperature control and reports equipment issues. Provides support in distributing access badges and offering escort services. The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level. Other duties may be assigned. Provides operational security support and monitors physical security for a facility or building. Facilitates the authorized entry of visitors and accounts for personnel who are authorized entry into the building. Maintains a safe and secure facility by performing ID verification of employees and visitors, as well as randombaggage searches. Conducts regular perimeter walks to verify the security of doors and gates, and interior walks to ensure proper storage of classified materials. Monitors temperature alarm systems to ensure proper temperature control in designated areas. Utilizes alarm systems, video surveillance equipment, and access control systems to restrict access to authorized personnel. Verifies the authorization of personnel entering the facility through visit authorization requests or access badges. Uses automated systems and applications to enter data, query visit control databases, and locate assigned personnel. Reports equipment and software problems to relevant authorities for resolution. Assists with the distribution of access badges and provides escort services for meeting attendees. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
