As a Freight Broker at Universal, your goal is to help customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions. You will have the opportunity to build solid relationships with carriers and manage your individual carrier base while working in a team environment. Ideal candidates possess the following characteristics: High energy level Strong communication skills Comfortable making multiple phone calls a day Proficient computer skills Proficient math skills needed to calculate rates per mile, etc. Humble but confident personality Entrepreneurial mindset Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment High School Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred Salary range $60,000-$90,000 depending on your incentive earnings, which are based on performance.
