About the Role: Bring your kitchen skills to a place where your work truly matters. As a Dietary Cook, youll help create delicious, nutritious meals that support the health and happiness of our residents. Dietary Cook Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of meals and snacks for all dietary needs. Ensure meals look great, taste great, and meet health codes. Help plan and portion food accurately to reduce waste. Keep kitchen and serving areas clean and organized. Collaborate with a supportive team and lead when needed. Interact kindly and professionally with residents and staff. Stay up to date with dietary trends and continuing education. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Experience and Education: At least 17 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. At least one month of applicable experience or training. Skills: Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to reason and problem solve. Basic technical skills. Attributes: Culinary skills. Sanitation and safety awareness. Attentional to detail. Compassionate and empathetic Adaptable. Problem solving. Teamwork. Communication skills.
