Full Job Description

Responsibilities Perform large-scale data center buildout and server deployment. Resolve complex technical issues within the data center, ranging from software bugs, hardware failures to network issues. Own policies and procedures for the day to day operations to ensure a secure and smooth production environment. Build tools and automations to improve the operational efficiency. Participate in an on-call rotation. Qualifications: - BS in technical field or related experience. - Knowledge of Linux and hardware systems in a production environment. - Knowledge of the interdependencies of data center functions and technologies. - Experience in shell scripting or programming languages Preferred Qualifications - Experience with massive remote OS installation such as PXE boot. - Knowledge of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods, such as IPMI and NCSI. - Time and project management experience. Physical Demand & Work Environment: Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment Must be able to use a computer Must have the ability to communicate effectively Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Salary Range $57,147.44 - $90,232.80 USD (Salary) Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
