Job Details: This is a 1st Shift position must have flexible hours Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Job Description: Summary: Position holder will work in a live production research facility to maintain various parts of the production and research process as a farm worker laborer. Requirements: Education: High School or GED diploma required; prefer local college student enrolled in an Agricultural / Poultry related background. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently and/or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds; work in a wet/dusty environment with external weather conditions; bending, stooping, heavy lifting, walking, grabbing, twisting, shoveling. Location: On-site work at the Russellville Research Farm Work Schedule will vary, must have a flexible work schedule. Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, etc). The companys Poultry Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Policies must be followed at all times, an Animal Welfare background check will be required. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Rehire Eligibility: Must not have worked for Tyson more than 3X, 180 days waiting period.
