Our Commercial Services team plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and growth, and we are seeking a talented Business Analyst to support this critical function. The individual will work in partnership and under the guidance of a Senior Commercial Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support for commercial reporting, helping to drive insights and strategic decisions. This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes. In this role, data will become available from multiple sources and you will be expected to combine into a digestible format for further analysis and use across the Commercial team. You will partner with others in the organization to independently produce and maintain commercial sales reports, tableau dashboards, performance metrics and ad hoc reporting. Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate sales performance against targets, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This includes assisting in the creation and ongoing execution of sales scorecards. Market Analysis: Work with our Data and Analytics team to understand our market and competitive landscape to provide reporting and information to the Commercial team in support of sales strategies and initiatives. Forecasting: Work alongside finance and Commercial Operations team members to assist in the development of sales forecasts and predictive models to project future sales performance and identify potential risks and opportunities. Collaboration: Work closely with commercial operations team members, sales, marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to gather data, share insights, and support strategic initiatives. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial reporting. Presentation & Communication: Prepare and present analytical findings to aid commercial leadership in the presentation of data to leadership and executive management. Communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a commercial sales environment. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. Experience with Alteryx is a plus. We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
