Senior Air Quality Engineer

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location. Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee the preparations of air quality permit applications, including PSD and Title V Review State, Federal, and Local regulations for applicability determinations and compliance tasking, keeping up with the development of new regulations and potential impacts to clients Provide compliance assistance for clients including data management, document review, and development of compliance tools Work with clients from a variety of industries in various locations inside and outside of the United States Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region Travel to clients facilities for inspections and document review Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments Qualifications/Education/Memberships: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related scientific field required 10+ years of hands-on related work experience Knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations, such as Title V, PSD, GHG Reporting, NSPS, NESHAP, RMP Experience with air compliance and permitting Experience with reporting programs such as air emissions inventory, greenhouse gases, annual/semi-annual air permit reports, annual air compliance certifications, monthly air permit reports Understanding of industrial operations and combustion equipment Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software Possess valid drivers license Willing to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel Preferred o Experience with oil and gas, power generation, mining, or ports o Experience with technical writing o Prior consulting or industry experience Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are at the core of who we are and want to be.
