What this job involves: The Workplace Coordinator manages daily facilities operations and workplace services for Stripe's offices, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience for employees and visitors. This role coordinates service delivery, responds to workplace needs, and supports office operations that enhance productivity and comfort. The position serves as a frontline workplace ambassador, coordinating various facility services while acting as a key point of contact for workplace-related requests and information. What your day-to-day will look like: Coordinate daily workplace operations including cleaning, maintenance, and service delivery Process and manage workplace service requests through the service management system Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding facilities services Coordinate space changes including moves, adds, and changes to workstations Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies, furniture, and workplace essentials Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery Conduct regular facility inspections and quality assurance checks Coordinate meeting room setups and special arrangements for events Support visitor management and reception services as needed Assist with workplace projects and improvement initiatives Maintain accurate records of workplace assets and inventory Support emergency response procedures and business continuity activities Coordinate catering and food service operations for meetings and events Assist with onboarding new employees regarding workplace services Monitor and report on workplace service metrics and performance indicators Support sustainability initiatives and workplace wellness programs Identify opportunities for workplace experience improvements Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, office management, or similar role Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills Experience with service request management and problem resolution Knowledge of facility operations and workplace services Proficiency with workplace management systems Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication skills in English (and local language where applicable) Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic environment Experience coordinating with service providers or vendors Background in inventory management or space coordination Preferred Qualifications G-Suite proficiency is preferred Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification or equivalent Experience in technology company environments or similar corporate settings Background in hospitality or service management Knowledge of health and safety requirements for office environments Experience with continuous improvement methodologies Background in event coordination or meeting management Experience with space planning or move management Knowledge of sustainable workplace practices Background in project coordination or implementation Experience supporting workplace technology systems Knowledge of local building operations and requirements Working Environment This position is based at Stripe's office, requiring regular on-site presence during business hours. The Workplace Coordinator moves throughout the facility regularly, requiring comfort with standing and walking for extended periods. The role involves occasional physical activities such as moving light furniture, handling supplies, and accessing various building areas. The position may require occasional evening or weekend hours to support special events or urgent needs.
