Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description: Job Overview The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.). Roles & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills Perform routine and predictive maintenance Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair Strong customer service skills Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc. Respond positively to requests in a timely manner Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus Maintain maintenance logs and schedules Qualification To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job safely. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Education and/ or Experience: Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction. Two years Electrical Experience minimum. High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May required to have a valid drivers license. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
