As part of the Operations Quality team, the Quality Inspector will assure product and process quality with emphasis on Product Compliance to technical documentations and manufacturing standards. You will have a great and direct impact in our Customer Satisfaction and delivery. What You Will Do Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of hardware to determine that build, rework, modification and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements. Inspect electronic and/or mechanical hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship and drawing specifications by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints and terminals using appropriate inspection devices. Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable. Assist in managing out of flow process for sub-assemblies to ensure compliance to command media. Ideal candidate will be expected to travel between facilities on campus on foot on a regular and/or as business requires. Prepare reports and maintain records as required. Meet necessary certifications as required. Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required. Qualifications You Must Have High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED). Minimum (8) years of work experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience or an Associates degree in Electronics, Engineering or relevant technical field of study and (6) years of experience. Experience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers. Experience with drawing and blueprint reading and interpretation. Previous experience conducting inspection to the Military Specifications (MIL Specs AS9100 or ISO9001) and Process Specifications. Previous experience performing quality inspections. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to conduct Audits per a defined Quality Management System. Certified J-STD-001 inspector Ability to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers. Exceptional attention to detail skills. Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work with a high degree of confidence and efficiency. Ability to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and peers to resolve issues. Display a strong personal commitment to successfully complete all projects. The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
