Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking a Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to join our team in one of the following locations: Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO. Boeing's Indirect Supply Chain organization is seeking a Strategic Sourcing and Contracting (SS&C) Specialist. This is an individual contributor role that is focused on sourcing and contracting firms to support Boeings Corporate Services. The SS&C Specialist will partner with enterprise team members and industry leaders to execute on supplier activities such as long-term agreements, strategic awards and corporate initiatives. The Strategic Sourcing & Contracting team manages the entire procurement lifecycle from issuing Requests for Proposals, price analysis, negotiation, contract award and contract management. The successful applicant will have a background in procurement, supply chain or strategic sourcing within the Corporate Services categories. The candidate must possess strong business acumen, project management skills, written and verbal communication and be adept at problem-solving. Indirect Supply Chain is a fast-paced, dynamic organization where you will work with peers and colleagues in other functions on exciting sourcing and contract management initiatives. Position Responsibilities: Build and sustain stakeholder and supplier relationships Facilitate dialogue to refine business requirements and support category strategy development Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings for informed sourcing decisions Develop and negotiate long-term agreements and strategic contracts that satisfy customer needs Oversee stakeholder engagement and contract lifecycle management for compliance and performance Recommend and implement supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and develop strategic implementation plans Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes 3+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations 3+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelors degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions Experience in program management Experience using SAP Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
