Position Summary... What you'll do... The Walmart Facility Services team is made up of over 6,000 associates (and growing) including skilled trade technicians and 3rd party vendors. The team's primary focus is to build a world class maintenance program through the development and execution of an asset management strategy. This team is responsible for optimizing the total cost of ownership and uptime for all of Walmarts physical assets and properties, including 5000+ stores, clubs, distribution centers, and fulfillment centers. What youll do The Process Improvement team is seeking a Process Improvement Manager to support our Facility Services business into the next generation of our business. This role involves evaluating current business processes , identifying gaps, facilitating root cause and best practices, and building standard processes for long-term sustainability. The ideal candidate will be adept at utilizing data to facilitate and drive lean practices. Additionally, this role requires ownership of the development, support, and management of processes that align with the overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities: Identify, plan, and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction. Streamline the workflows and reduce waste, thus increasing productivity and profitability of the company. Analyze existing workflows, developing strategies to optimize operations, implementing changes, monitoring performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis, training employees on new processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization; essentially aiming to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency through data-driven decision making. Develop, support, and manage processes that align with and support the overall business strategy. Ensure these processes are efficient, sustainable, and scalable Maintain clear and timely communication with Leadership Monitor and track key performance indicators to ensure optimal process improvement.
