Associate or Experienced Production/Inventory Coordinator Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Experienced Production/Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will possess the applicable and appropriate educational credentials from an accredited institution, along with relevant certifications for operating cranes, forklifts, side loaders, and work savers. Position Responsibilities: Operates heavy machinery, including cranes and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner Accurately picks and processes work orders while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Utilizes various Boeing systems and software to manage inventory and track orders effectively Collaborates with team members across different functional areas, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift however, candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required. This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment More than 3 years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes Willing to work variable shifts; including day, evening, night and weekends Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Associate Level B: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced Level C: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. More than 3 years of experience with warehouse inventory (e.g. parts accuracy and accountability) More than 3 years of experience in Materials Management Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift Typical Education/Experience: Associate Level B: High School diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required. Experienced Level C: High School diploma/GED and typically 4 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
