Full Job Description

Production Operator Wage: $30.10 per hour Plus Shift Differential $2.00 per hour Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM; 2-2-3 Rotating-Shift Schedule (every other weekend off) Role Focus: In this role, you will be a key member of our Land OLakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. The Dryer Operator is responsible for the operation of 3 onsite Dryers and all process controls associated with these processes. CIP silos, lines, pumps, presses and associated product equipment and responsible for organizing and conducting timely dryer washes. Other duties as assigned. Performing duties while maintaining the highest level of GMP and sanitation standards possible, while adhering to quality system requirements and maintaining awareness of safety and customer focus. Occasional confined space entry and must be comfortable with heights and stairs. This role is part of our Dairy Food business who creates dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe theres power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to peoples lives. Required Qualifications & Experiences: 18 years or older 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience Forklift certification or willing to obtain and maintain Forklift Cert. Must have basic computer literacy Preferred Requirements At least one year of Food/Dairy processing experience in a manufacturing environment Basic understanding of plant operations Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include: Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime Ability to lift and or carry up to 50lbs About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
