Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? We are seeking a Civil Engineer III in our Fort Mitchell, KY office. As a key technical lead, your skills will contribute to impactful civil engineering projects across recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional sectors, bringing innovative solutions to communities throughout the region. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and a passion for delivering high-quality work in the field and office. What You'll Do: Civil Engineering design of recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects AutoCAD Civil 3D Design work Prepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects Design various civil engineering-related projects, including site grading and drainage improvements, drinking water treatment, distribution, and storage, wastewater collection, road, trail, and other pedestrian facilities Point person in charge of the execution of the technical design and permit application preparation, with assistance from other staff on the team, reports directly to the Project Manager Serve as the engineer of record and stamp reports, plans, drainage calculations, and other documents Mentoring fellow engineers Responsible for QA/QC review Other duties as assigned What You Bring: Bachelor of Science in civil engineering or a similar field; higher education preferred Kentucky or Ohio PE license; preferred Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD or similar, WaterCAD, and Bluebeam Strong technical skills Valid drivers license; occasional travel required Ability to complete field work, including carrying equipment and walking on undeveloped sites Salary Range: The starting salary for this position is $85,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
