Job Description Position Overview: As an Analyst, Finance and Capital Markets, you will support creating and updating complex financial models, transaction closings/fundings, and compliance with covenants in finance documents. You will work closely with other Invenergy teams including Thermal and Renewable Development, Asset Management, Legal, and Accounting, as well as external stakeholders. This position is located at our headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities: Support the development of models to analyze the economic merits and risks associated with wind, solar, storage and natural gas projects. Contribute to the development of project financing structures and analyze alternative approaches. Collaborate with company engineers, developers, originators, and accounting professionals to develop appropriate assumptions for project models. Assist in due diligence processes for project finance, corporate finance and merger & acquisition transactions. Support closings for debt and equity financing transactions. Interpret terms in operating agreements, financing agreements, and power hedge agreements and communicate findings to management. Required Skills: Bachelors degree infinance, economics, engineering, or a related field. 1-2+ years of experience in finance or banking. Demonstrated ability to develop complex financing models in Excel. Familiarity with project or corporate finance transactions and documentation. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses self-starter qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal direction. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with project or corporate finance transactions in power generation or energy/utilities sector preferred. Base Pay $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 15% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
