Job Description: Job Title Engineering Platforms and Practice Corporate Title Associate Location Cary, NC Who we are The Technology, Data, & Innovation (TDI) Platform Engineering group own a set of tools and platforms that are used by every single development team. Our mission is to provide a frictionless software delivery experience whilst safeguarding the integrity of the software supply chain. That means we both define governance and tooling to make it easy for teams to demonstrate compliance to those standards. The role comprises engineering expertise in design, deployment and maintenance of DT tools, Subject Matter Experts (SME) of the application in terms of operational knowledge as well as requirements. Working with the product owner, level 2/3 teams, vendor contacts and the engineering team to handle daily operational tasks and long-term projects. Typical operational tasks may include designing and implementing automation for application deployments, application upgrades, application & data migrations, Also understanding and adherence with bank policy and standards related to security and production release controls and working with the rest of the SDLC team to ensure the full compliance. Overview Youll be an engineer with moderate experience and join a team of other enthusiastic professionals striving to innovate, design and build solutions that meet comprehensive requirements. Youll be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices and able to translate requirements into technical solutions whilst communicating effectively both in and outside your team. Youll have development skills, familiar with IDEs and development tool sets.
