Line of Business: Other Tanker Driver About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing - Safely operate a tanker truck to transport and deliver materials to customer and company locations. - Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe and compliant operation. - Load, unload, and handle materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. - Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and regulatory records. - Provide professional customer service while supporting efficient and timely deliveries. What Are We Looking For - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements and a strong commitment to safe driving practices. - Demonstrated ability to operate, inspect, and maintain commercial tanker equipment safely and efficiently. - Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and commitment to compliance with company policies and procedures. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing operational needs. Conditions of Employment - Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. - Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment - Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
