Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter specializing in Occupational Accident and Texas Non-Subscription coverage to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate risk, analyze exposures, and develop pricing and underwriting strategies that support profitable growth while delivering exceptional service to our broker and client partners. Your Impact: Evaluate and underwrite occupational accident and Texas non-subscription risks Analyze submissions including applications, loss history, payroll/exposure data, and operational details Price policies accurately using underwriting guidelines, actuarial input, and market conditions Determine coverage terms, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and endorsements Review and negotiate coverage terms for new business and renewals Monitor portfolio performance, loss trends, and exposure concentrations Recommend corrective underwriting actions based on claims experience and emerging risks Maintain underwriting documentation and files in accordance with audit and compliance standards Successful Candidate Will Have: 2-5 years experience in Underwriting P&C license required within the state of Texas BA/BS preferred Proficient with the full Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel Knowledge in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and/or EPIC is a plus About Us: CPRO specializes in alternative risk programs.
