Overview: Assists in the talent acquisition process by ensuring a smooth and efficient interview and hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers. Works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and support various administrative tasks related to recruitment. Primary Responsibilities: Complete various activities related to the coordination of interviews including scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, updating and maintaining appropriate systems and recruiting tools, greeting and assisting internal and external candidates during the interview process by providing information, assistance, and direction as needed, and arranging travel for out-of-town candidates as required. Serve as primary point of contact for candidates for providing application status updates as requested. Handle candidate inquiries promptly and professionally ensuring a positive candidate experience; escalate more complex inquiries as appropriate. Assist with additional related responsibilities including creating requisitions, posting and/or taking down requisitions, coordinating reference checks and/or assessments, confirming start dates and next steps during the hiring process, and sending new hire notifications to hiring managers. Provide support on other miscellaneous Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as required. Understand and adhere to the Companys risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Companys Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports a culture of belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: This individual works closely with the Talent Acquisition staff as a partner to support the fulfillment of employment needs across the Bank footprint. As such, the jobholder is required to interact and communicate with internal and external candidates as well as various levels of management within the Bank. This position is often the first contact/impression a potential candidate has of the Bank. Education and Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one year of successful administrator experience in HR or comparable setting. Education and Experience Preferred: Works with limited supervision. Excellent knowledge of company policies and procedures regarding talent acquisition and the activities that support those efforts. Ability to work as a member of team in a dynamic environment. Ability to use independent judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality of Bank matters. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel. Demonstrated proficiency of quickly responding to questions in an accurate and timely fashion. The ability to multi-task.
