Business Office Manager Centerville Post Acute Facility Address: 1001 E Alex Bell Rd Centerville, OH 45459 Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: Approximately $70,000$80,000 annually Job Description The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily financial and administrative operations of the facilitys business office. This role ensures accurate billing, timely collections, compliance with healthcare regulations, and excellent customer service for residents and families. Key Responsibilities Manage Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private-pay billing processes Oversee accounts receivable and collections to maintain healthy cash flow Investigate and resolve denied or unpaid claims Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and authorizations Maintain accurate resident financial records and census information Communicate with residents and families regarding billing questions and payment arrangements Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility billing regulations Prepare financial reports and support month-end closing activities Coordinate with admissions, nursing, and corporate billing departments Supervise and train business office staff as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of healthcare billing or business office experience Skilled in Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing procedures Experience with accounts receivable and collections Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and billing systems Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred We are an equal opportunity employer.
